Is it possible to configure reading dates to sort on the last read date, not the first?
If I've re-read a book I enter a second (third/forth etc) finished on date. When I go to My Books and sort on Finished Date, it is sorting on the first date entered. It would be nice if that would sort on the last time I read it.
I've probably missed something and its staring me in the face... if so, please point me in the right direction.

>1 Helenliz: When I enter new reading dates I always copy/paste all of the old reading dates down one row, so that the new reading date can be at the top. It's a pain.

So you have multiple dates in a single book record? Can you give an example? I don't see any with a quick look at your library sorting by Date Finished.

>3 lorax: When you're viewing the Started/Finished dates in the catalog the multiple dates don't show until you double-click in the field to edit it. One example of this in my catalog is the book Odds Against which I read in 2019 and again in 2021 for a group read. I hope this link shows you the Book Details page as I see it: https://www.librarything.com/work/42892/details/172882135
It would be nice if multiple reading dates would show in the catalog, without having to click into the field, as well as being able to sort by last date entered.

Where do you enter your reading dates? I use the edit book page, and my books always sort on the most recently entered. There are several Georgette Heyers in my currently reading collection.

Thank you for trying to help - this one is down to user error.
I'd not entered a finished date on the last time I'd re-read the book, then wondered why it wasn't sorting in the right place.

>6 Helenliz: I'll hijack this thread with a question (so we can forget the user error and turn it into something useful).
In the Stats/Meme I think I've seen a hint that LT keeps track of a "Review date" that is AFAIK not visible anywhere else. I think it is something like the last time you edited the Review field?
Anyone seen anything like that anywhere on LT?

>7 bnielsen: Always assumed, when looking at the Reviews page, that it was the date listed on the bottom of the review.

>8 gilroy: Yes, that's the one. I.e. for my book "Riget" (Book Id 22715483) it says Aug 1, 2008, but in Edit Book I have reading dates 2008-06-07. And the export file doesn't mention Aug 1, 2008 anywhere for that book.
Pony request:
It would be nice to have that added to export and as an option for a column in the styles, so it would be possible to sort on it.
