Hello, some of my books are associated with the wrong series and as such show up in search results incorrectly, i.e. book 'x' is incorrectly designated as part of series 'y', so if I search for 'y' in my library, 'x' shows up in the search results. I don't need series at all, is there a way to dissociate my books from all series? I saw another post where someone suggested going to 'basic settings' and click on 'edit series'. I can find neither. Thanks in advance for responding.

>1 alirezay: If you find books in the wrong series, you can remove them or ask for help in the Series group. https://www.librarything.com/ngroups/3717/Librarything-Series
To stop seeing series in your library: go to the Your books tab, click the settings button, and remove series from your display styles by dragging it off to the side.

What books and series are we talking about? Technically, books aren't in series, works are. If some editions could be in a series but others not, like Tom Sawyer and the Library of American Literature (I just made that up) then the series should be changed to a publisher's series.

Another thing you may want to check is to make sure your book isn't combined with an incorrect other work. This would also be a reason why your book appears in the wrong series.
If your book is called "The Island" and combines with author A's work, instead of the proper author, it can create a series connection issue, which isn't actually the series' fault, but the book combination fault.
