earlier, another helpful person was helping to square away an issue with my recent additions. after which, a message appeared in the change cover section - seemingly- demanding that i change the cover. exact words- remove it- in parentheses and blue letters. i have changed many covers and they only always say if you want to change a cover. i changed the cover- and the message continues. one other book - one associated with the original problem- has the same message.
if i don't remove it- or i keep changing and getting the same message will the book-cover-police come after me and hijack my labors? lol

I have been using LT since 2007, and I have absolutely never encountered anything like that. I'm flabbergasted.

That does seem to be what it says on the cover page:
...but I imagine what’s meant is that you can use that link to remove the custom cover, should you wish to do that, e.g. if you realise that you uploaded the wrong file.
This book uses a custom cover (remove it).

>4 thorold: Well, it is bizarre, that only two books have ever produced that variation of the message. I have changed the cover- but the message remains.
