We are a very small volunteer library. We just recently received physical library cards so we can access the Utah State Library through Overdrive. My question is would Library Thing or Tiny Cat be a good database to keep track of customers, what they check out, and then email (and/or text) them reminders that their books are due or overdue? I'm looking for some sort of database for this to help streamline it a bit for our volunteers. Any help would be appreciated!

Each book that your customers borrow from Overdrive would have to be entered.

>2 MarthaJeanne: We have a physical location, and that's more what I'm looking for. Overdrive handles itself and won't require much work from us. I'm looking more for a database for patrons that come into the library and checkout a hard copy of a book.

Yes it can keep track of customers, yes it can keep track of what they check out, yes it can send them reminders
