Murder Mystery I think
From what I remember, it starts out with a woman detective going to a crime scene. I think a family of three was dead, one of the siblings might have been missing or alive and at the scene.
I think the detective was new in town.
I remember there being an old woman who knew everything that was going on in town, and I think the title had to do with that
I think the author had a name like Nora Roberts, but it definitely wasn't her.
I read this book 8-10 years ago. I think it was probably written in the '80s or '90s.
The book was a thick paperback.
