Find this book! Historical Romance, kidnap, family repeat

Help me find this book. It's driving me insane. I read this book about 16 years ago. I cannot remember the author or title but I remember a lot of the plot. I've searched and just can't find it. I'm guessing it's a 90s romance novel.

Plot: Young woman who has harbored a crush on a seemingly family member by marriage. He helped her ride a horse I believe. She tries on her mother's dress and runs to open the door for said man. The dress is important as her mother had it specially made for her own body and her mother was kidnapped and fell for her kidnapper who is the Heroine's father. Everyone remarks how she's just as beautiful as her mother (who had men obsessed with her). The dress maker comes in and alters the dress to fit the Heroine and mentions how she has an even smaller waist than her mother. Her crush seems to fall in love with her (I believe at a family wedding) because of her beauty and on account she's now old enough. They themselves get married. He takes her to meet his boss who is a total creep and tries to come on to her. She tells Hubby and he brushes it off. She ends up going to their place of employment and there is a worker strike. History repeats and she gets kidnapped by the workers. There is a nice woman who helps her get out of her ripped dress. One of the workers tries to rape her but is stopped by the woman. The Heroine is soon able to roam around the house and starts to help in the kitchen. Another worker who is around her age begins a friendship with her. I wanna say he ends up dying to save her or something like that. She reunites with her husband and he seems to try and say the workers treated her horribly and also kinda blames her.
