YA/NA Paranormal Novel

I read a book last year and I can't remember the title or author. It's a series. It's about a girl who was chosen as saviour or something. I think she only wore white and She had to wear a veil because no one was supposed to see her face and she was also raised by the queen. She was physically abused if she went against the stringent rules that she had. She was taught to fight by her guard. One night she snuck out where she met a guy who turned out to be the dark prince. I think kids were also sacrificed to a chosen set of people and it turned out that they were drinking their blood??? Everything she had known was a lie. There may be a forest, a waste land and kingdoms. I think the book starts with an illustration of the world in the book actually.
(By the way it's possible that I am mixing up two different books)
