Was I Right to Red Flag This? What Happens Now?

Hi All: I've never posted here in the group, but I found you all after red-flagging my very first review here on the site (at least, I think it's the first, I don't recall red-flagging in the past), and wondered if I had done right, and what happens next.

The review is for 'Vassilisa the Beautiful,' from icre8dstny:

I was recently looking through my books illustrated by Ivan Bilibin, and noticed another review for this title. Imagine my surprise when the bulk of the review was my own. They copied and pasted three paragraphs of my review, after two sentences of their own. There are no quotation marks, but they did credit me.

Was I right to flag? It bothers me that they just copied my entire review, as I don't know why someone would do that, since my review is already right there on the page, if someone wants to read it. On the other hand, they did credit me. Does this make it OK, by LT standards? If it's not OK, what happens? Does the review get deleted? Does the red flag hide it? Thanks for any answers.

You did right. It's supposed to be the member's review, not someone else's.

After a number (5?) of red flags the review will be hidden but not removed.

>5 AbigailAdams26: I think some people don't understand that a review is supposed to be original. They seem to think that copying, especially with attribution, is fine, perhaps because they are "agreeing" with what someone else wrote. A form of flattery so to speak?

I also noticed that he gave a number of books positive reviews and then rated them one star (which I always thought was a negative or down vote). Apparently he is no longer active on LT.
