I've been trying to track down all my missing books, and I would like to ask librarything to remove this from the LT side so it doesn't show she ever offered it, since the author isn't following through with her end of the deal by send out a book.
I find this extremely unprofessional for an author to make an agreement to provide a book out, and then to renege on that -- I hate it. It's frustrating. And then to offer up another book is just tacky.
"I'm just back in to my LibraryThing account after a hiatus and don't have an anticipated publication date for Luminary at the moment. If you haven't read my dystopian short, "The Engine Driver," I'd be happy to send you a copy while I get back to work!"
