When we adopted our youngest cat as a kitten, it took him a year to stop looking at the Little Meep as "play toy/snack." Even now, when DH is cleaning the cage, the cat will find a way to jump up near the extra cage and just stare.

>6 threadnsong: The poor little bird might be in need of some metal heath care. Bet Dr. Phil has an opening on his show. It would sure beat some of...well most of... the people that appear on his show. Where do they get these kooks and how much do they pay them? I could be totally bananas for an hour for the right price:))

>7 Carol420: I hear ya! Yeah, it would be interesting to find out what the bird thinks about his previous experiences. He does seem to like the fact that I'm working from home these days and will make his presence known during virtual meetings, so there's that. Maybe he's working through his early trauma??
