When you are on the ticker site, this are the steps you have to take
1. Choose "Crafts/Hobbies"
2. Choose "objects and actions" counter
3. Choose a ruler and click on 'next' in the top right corner
4. Choose a slider and click on 'next' in the top right corner
5. Choose a pin code you can remember.
6. Enter the name of your ticker, for example "ROOTS 2021"
7. Enter your count target/goal
8. Leave 'current count' alone
9. You are free to put something in 'personal message'
10. Click save
11. Copy paste the HTML Code in the first post of your own thread (or wherever you want it to show up) and in the ticker-thread. That's the last one in the row.

A ticker is very easy to use.
1. Right-click on the ticker you want to update
2. Choose: Open in new window/tab (or something like that. I'm translating from Dutch)
3. Go to the new tab
4. Enter your pin code
4. You see your ticker and choose 'edit/update'
6. Click on 'Add'. A pop-up will open
7. Enter the number of books you have read or want to add
8. Click on 'safe' at the bottom of the page
9. You see an example or your new ticker
10. Click on Next in the top right corner
11. Click on NEW Ticker in the top right corner
12. You see your ticker and it looks like it's not changed at all. You just have to refresh the page to see the change. The ticker is adjusted everywhere you use it.

2. After you have updated the group ticker and pressed save, again click on the NEW TICKER to clear the style before you update the percentage ticker.
IF YOU PRESS NEW TICKER AT THE END OF UPDATING ANY TICKER, THE STYLE MEMORY WILL BE CLEARED AND READY FOR THE NEXT UPDATE.
