Wind in the Willows-just asking

I still have my Easton Wind in the Willows: nice looking on the outside in a yellow binding: but the reproductions of the Rackham illustrations look so faded. (I compared one with the same picture in the Quarto-Millenary.)
I also understand there are several color illustrations missing (as also was true for the Heritage Press version).
I did find in the past discussions this quote from Django6924 in 2010 (!)
"An interesting point is that the LEC contains 4 more color illustrations than do the Heritage editions, but the Heritage contains several more pen and ink sketches than the LEC. I'm not sure, but I suspect, that these extra drawings for preliminary color illustrations planned, but not completed, by Rackham before his death, and that they didn't come to light until after the LEC edition had already been printed."
I'm now in a position to look for a decent LEC version and I saw one the price of which didn't cause nosebleed.
Perhaps it was in the same thread that it was mentioned that some HPs of this were printed letterpress. If such a one can be found, it might be a reasonable substitute for, or complement to (due to the additional sketches) the LEC.
Since ten years have passed since that thread, I am asking if anyone has anything to add to the discussion.

Apparently not. *grin*

>2 Glacierman: Well, at least to finish my part of the story, I did successfully acquire the LEC book in quite good condition (faded spine and taped-together slipcase but internally very good). It was revelatory comparing the color illustrations (as mentioned above) with the Easton Press versions. And I am really happy to have the four additional colored paintings by Rackham; the one showing Pan is especially appealing.
As far as I now these additional ones have never appeared anywhere else.
