'Eat Pizza'

If anyone even thought of eating in my library they would be kicked out at once. The damage done to volumes by greasy fingers is immeasurable. It's always of interest to look at antiquarian volumes and see long-term damage: a small fingermark that was probably even invisible in the 1720s is now, three-hundred years later. a large brown smudge all but concealing the text underneath. As a lover of books (both fine and for normal reading), I beg of you, PLEASE don't eat and read other people's books at the same time.

Seems fair. I never do this, but if I did, it would be with my own books. Library books are sacred to me.
