I need help remembering the title for a book that had a predominantly blue cover. It had a woman in a flowy gown against a brick wall, next to an arch opening with either a manor or mansion in the distance. In the book she was a hard working woman who was supposed to inherit a large sum of money but could only obtain it if she was married for at least a year. So she asks a man to marry her and he says he will on the condition that she takes care of his ward(?). They write “love letters” to make it seem legitimate. When they’re married they move to a manor and the husband throws small parties every other week and she hired too many gardeners, and the ward begins to become attached to her. She does not get along with her husband’s friends and she they begin to call her an Ice Queen and she almost freezes as she tries to tell her husband that she is not an Ice Queen. They make love and then get into an argument I believe and she tries to leave but the ward follows her through the rain and almost dies. She brings him back and her and her husband reconcile as he tells her he loves her and the woman he’s been parading around with was his uncles lover and he was trying to get her to tell him his uncle’s secrets. They end up discovering that his uncle was trying to steal the money meant for the husband by saying he had been legitimately recognized by his father rather than him staying a bastard for his whole life. And that’s all I remember.
