*You enter a large space to the Rocky Theme playing through speakers. Desks are liberally spread throughout the space, with six feet between all. Each desk has a speaker control and an isolation cube available as needed. Please wear a (writerly) mask signs also exist*

And
Here
We
GO!!!!!

We've cycled past that mystical hour when the veil starts to close and the words of the previous year must FLOW like spice. The Authorial Spirits continue to swirl in their urging to burn off fingertips with new places, people, and problems. (And here we don't mean alcohol, though we wouldn't be surprised if that's involved this year. But this is a family friendly forum.)

IF you stayed up until midnight and began to write, take five to give us an update.
If not, what are you waiting for?! WRITE! GOGOGO!

Look for these weekly threads throughout the month for a place to whing, to beg for help, to get encouragement, or to encourage others. While we are all gunning for 50k, this is a race against ourselves, not anyone else.

An automated wrist massager is available in the back of the room, though they have developed a loud buzz that I can't seem to stop. We have a trolley with plenty of snacks and caffeinated beverages of choice.

Expected goals for the week:
Day Ending Word Count
1 1667
2 3334
3 5001
4 6668
5 8335
6 10002
7 11669

I miss writing in coffee shops. Your writing lounge sounds good. Maybe needs a barista.

We're still negotiating her salary. For now the trolley is a reprogrammed Roomba. :)
