I will upload the images of letters I've already done. And get working on the rest in order of priority!
9LadyoftheLodge
Thanks! Of course my brain is working on the letter combinations again:
PM=Noon til midnight (post meridian)
AW=A & W rootbeer
IN=Indiana
CD=compact disc
VJ=Victory in Japan day
FL=Florida
HE=helium
GQ=Gentleman's Quarterly

14LibraryCin
>9 LadyoftheLodge: I thought of that, too! Wish I'd done more with it this year, as they almost all worked for something.
also PM = private message (i.e. social media?)

So glad the letter combos are a hit!
I saw TK as a Technical Knockout!
CD are my initials, BY for so long.

SO were my initials before getting married, so I chuckled at that one.

Sorry for the delay, took a little while to get the technology all talking to each other. I have uploaded the letters in bold to my member gallery, let me know if you can't access them.

>21 clue: thank you! I will post a finished picture when I do finally complete all the squares.
23dudes22
>19 Helenliz: - Those are great! I used to do a lot of counted cross stitch but have given it up as my eyes got worse and my mistakes more frequent. How big are the squares?
24Helenliz
>23 dudes22: They are 90 threads across, although I'm stitching over 2 each time, so I get 44 to 45 stitches across each side. They measure almost 5 inches square. These stitches are quite large! But that makes it perfect for TV stitching.
26Helenliz
>25 dudes22: its an afghan, so they are one piece of fabric. Its for a baby blanket. Picture when I've finished. >:-)

36LibraryCin
Just a note - I'm not sure who did the links from the group's home page, but the link to the wiki is not going to the wiki. It's simply reloading the group page. I'm not sure who was updating that. Thanks!
37rabbitprincess
>36 LibraryCin: Darn it! I'll check the HTML again. The trouble with the group home page is that the text box for editing is tiny, so I can't always tell when something's worked.
edit to say that this has been fixed.

>37 rabbitprincess: Thanks RP! You're awesome.
39rabbitprincess
>37 rabbitprincess: Turns out there was no URL in the HTML tag! No wonder the link wasn't going anywhere :D
41genealogy_nana
would you be so kind as to explain the letters and the general rules, for those who are new.
42majkia
>41 genealogy_nana: Welcome! There are two letters for every month. And x and Z are to use all year long. You can use the letters any way you like. Some folks stick with Author initials, some first letter in a title, others any word in the title that fits the letters. It is open to you to use the letters however you like!

>44 Helenliz: You do beautiful work!
51MissBrangwen
It looks stunning and I love how much thought you have put into the design!
53Helenliz
>51 MissBrangwen: I've done a couple now, so it has evolved to the current state. It started out with I for "invisible" and just a pattern in white! And each one turns out different, just based on colour choice and mood.
>52 Kristelh: thanks.
>52 Kristelh: thanks.
54dudes22
Besides being fabulous, I'm curious - what size does it end up being? What count linen are you using? I see up above that you told me the size of the squares and the # of threads your using. So is my math right that it's about 18 count? You should publish this pattern. I think a lot of people would like it.
55rabbitprincess
Beautiful!!
56Helenliz
>54 dudes22: it ends up as 28 x 44 inches (including fringing).
Each square is 5 inches, and the threads are 18 count, but I have been sewing over 2 each time, so an effective 9 count.
