Kill Me Why? by Ritu Sethi
British Columbia
I loved the first book when I read it last year. This one seemed disjointed, forced, lacking cohesion. Many interactions did not seem natural. I struggled to the end because u wanted to know who the killer was and when I peeked at the end about halfway through it didn't make sense. I'm curious about the resolution of book 3, but not enough to read it.

Cold Mourning by Brenda Chapman
Ontario
Third time with this book. The description is vaguely familiar for anyone who reads many mysteries. About five words in I knew I'd read it before, but had no memory beyond the prologue. As the story developed I continued to recognize it with no recollection of what came next. And I enjoyed it right to the same end I got to two previous times! Good story, well written.
