I am continuing on with The Magic Mountain, The Book of Disquiet, and may finally, finally get to The Pilgrim's Progress.

Currently I am glued to the pages of I'm not Scared by Niccolo Ammaniti, can't wait to see how this one is going to turn out!

I'm still reading The Magic Mountain. I like it, but I find myself picking up whatever other book I'm reading more often.

The Black Death by Ziegler.

I am trying very hard to finish Jahrestage. I wanted to read an entry a day for a year and started out on time in August of 2019 when the book starts. I got behind by the time the holidays came around, and have stayed behind. I am currently in the month of May. The entries for the last three months are getting longer. I do like it, but it has not held my interest for some reason.
I am catching up with some challenges and group reads from earlier in the year, and will start with this month's group read, The Well of Loneliness next week.

It seems like October is a month for many of us to read very long books! I am reading Cecilia which is long but not at all a hard read.
>3 DeltaQueen50:, I really enjoyed that book! Very diverting.

>7 annamorphic: I am finished I'm Not Scared and I loved it - gave it 5 stars and immediately added more by this author to my Kindle.

I also enjoyed I'm Not Scared when I read it in 2018. I don't think I would have found this book or author without the list.

>6 BentleyMay: I found Anniversaries more engaging when read in longer sections than just an entry a day -- reading a weeks worth once a week was the right pace. Though I sometimes got behind, I did manage to finish it on Aug 20, as planned. :)

Starting The Devil and Miss Prym and hoping to get to The Master and The Unconsoled before the month ends.

I actually finally finished David Copperfield after *5* months of reading. I started, and the pandemic hit, upending my whole life, including my reading schedule, among a million other interferences. I'm now on to The Scarlet Letter. If the pandemic continues, I'll be done in about 3 months. If it ends, I'll wrap up next week.
