Hi -- I am new here, and not sure what to do about this. James Kaye is a pseudonym of James K. Baker (1), the bat author, so how should they be linked?

Hi BooksByTheLake,
Normally you would combine the two author names. When one author is split, as with James K. Baker (1), then the only option is to alias the split author to the other author.
Aliasing a split author starts from the Author division/edit the division page. Near the top of that page, click on Alias divisions to other authors.
I've gone ahead and aliased James K. Baker (1) so you can see what that looks like.

If you change the Canonical Name on https://www.librarything.com/author/kayejames, sooner or later someone will accidentally combine that page with https://www.librarything.com/author/bakerjamesk
