A little late to the game but I'm hoping that's alright with the group. I visited a book store yesterday for the first time in so so long, and ended up spending much of last night on Library Thing researching the list of titles I had written down at the store. I haven't been active on here, apart from adding books I've read, in close to a decade. Hoping to change that and get back in the swing of reading challenges to myself and tracking progress on fun threads and groups.
These books have been on my shelf for quite some time:
1. Scale: The universal laws of Growth by Geoffrey West
2. The Book of the Heart: Embracing the Tao by Loy Ching-Yuen
3. Three Messages and a Warning - Collection of short stories
4. The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
5. Becoming by Michelle Obama
6. The Stranger by Albert Camus
7. Enlightenment Now by Steven Pinker
8. The General in His Labyrinth by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
9. Losing Earth by Nathaniel Rich
10. A Modern Day Yankee by Alan Lightman
These are in no particular order, just how I pulled them off the shelf. I hope to update this thread with the some good news soon that I've started a book from this list after recently finishing The Island of Sea Women on my guilty pleasure: my kindle.
