First, you need to have the photo hosted somewhere (for instance, on Flickr, or in you LT junk drawer).

Then use (no spaces before or after the "greater" and "lesser" symbols)

- Puts the image from the web location shown into the post.

- Puts the img at the web location shown into the post, but gives it a height of hhh pixels and a width of www pixels. For those of you who want to include images that seem way too big once you included them, shrink them down with these parameters. Note, that for best compatibility with most screen widths, an image shouldn't be much wider than about 500 pixels.

sorry about the cut and paste, but the instructions were getting interpreted instead of just being printed out.

Thank you for your help. I am not on Flicker, and I'm having difficulty adding to my junk drawer. I'll keep trying.

Where is the photo you want to post? Is it on your computer, or on another website?

Okay.

Go to your profile, and click on "Your member gallery" in the upper right (under "Your profile).
On the left, click on "add another picture".
On the "Upload image" page, click on "browse". That should bring up your files on your computer. Select the image you want. Where it says "to where", you can choose to upload it to your Member Gallery or to your Junk Drawer.
Then click on "Upload image".

I followed all the steps, the choose tab is selected and the page behind turns light grey, giving me a chice to close or exit only. It may be my computer.

Oh, dear, I don't know why that would be!

Hope someone else can jump in with some ideas.

What browser are you using? A few of the details are different in my browser from >9 lilithcat:?

Thank you all for the help. I am now able to move a photo from my I-phone to my Junk drawer. How do I move it to a post on one of my groups?

>13 cbellia: Check out this post for things you can do in a Talk post, including embedding an image (the "img src" tag): https://www.librarything.com/topic/177029. You'll need to right-click the image from your junk drawer and copy the image address to do so.
