I just tried to add a book to my list "al.vick-wishlist-next-in-series" and it didn't do anything. It said it worked fine, the work did not show up on the list. At least using Safari 13.1.1

Thanks to the correction in >5 AnnieMod:.
What book are you trying to add? What search term/s are you using?
6kristilabrie
Whoops, I missed that part! Thanks for the correction. Will edit my note in >4 kristilabrie: to match.

It seems to be working now, but sometimes I have to re-load the list page to see the addition.

I'm having this issue - can't add a book to the list Books Read in 2020. The search window does a little "spin", but no search results come back. I've tried reloading the page, searching for different titles, waiting to see if it's a temporary thing (didn't wait long - a few minutes), but no joy.

>8 Michael.Rimmer: Site search appears to be down at the moment, so that may be the cause.

>9 amanda4242: Thanks - yeah, it must have been that. Working ok now 🙂

I'm having a repeat of this problem - can't add a new book to a list. Tried 12 hours ago and intermittently since, but not working. Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

>11 Michael.Rimmer: I haven't had any luck adding books to a list since last night.

>12 sjudd: The list I'm trying to add to usually gets s few additions each day but has remained static, so I'm assuming it's a general thing.
Also, the search box on Relationships isn't pulling any results through, so it's a problem not confined to lists.

There seem to be a few related issues here with site slowness and 500 errors, so I'm going to consolidate those to this thread for updates from LT staff: https://www.librarything.com/topic/330089. Please follow along there for updates, thanks for your patience in the meantime!

>11 Michael.Rimmer: and >12 sjudd: Update: the developers found and fixed various issues resulting from a server change made last week, so I believe this issue should be okay now, but let me know if you're still having trouble!

Excellent! Marking as fixed. Thanks.

I can't add books to lists. This includes not being able to:
(a) add a book to the Books read in 2021 list which has 93 members adding anything from 1 book to more than 200. There isn't a limit on the number of books.
(b) add a book on a preset list to my own list
I was able to add to the same lists this morning and early afternoon (I'm in London, UK and it's now 10.23 pm here.)

Same here. If I fill in a title in the search field there is no search, nothing happens.

I was unable to add a book to the List Books Read in 2021. I also was unable to pull up books in that list that are in my collection.

>19 FAMeulstee:, >20 dara85: and >21 PlaidStallion: I've just realised I can't look at the Books read in 2021 in Date order (to see latest additions) or move to later pages. Glad to see I'm not the only person who's bugged by this.

Confirmed on my Chrome:
1. Go to https://www.librarything.com/list/42790/all/Books-Read-in-2021
2. click "Add work to list"
3. enter "Mirrorland" in the search box and click the "Search" button.
Bug: nothing happens.
In the dev console, I see a number of errors:
Uncaught script.aculo.us requires the Prototype JavaScript framework >= 1.6.0

Clicking to sort on "Title" instead of "Score" throws an error in my dev console:

Still happening this morning. Site search seems ok, but the list function is dead. Can't add to or sort by anything. Click and nothing happens.

I am also still having this experience. I have tried on multiple browsers.

Okay, this is now fixed. Thanks for your patience, all.

Yes, thanks! Seems tip top again.
