Two books from the Favourite Books of 2019 roundabout have arrived in my mailbox, much faster than I'd expected given the postal delays we've been experiencing. So my main June goal will be to finish these two book. I also hope to read and release (for gypsysmom's Canada Days release challenge) a couple of Canadian books from my shelves.

Despite not making my goal last month I am again going to try to clear some of those Canadian books off my TBR list so they can be released for the Canada Days challenge. In fact I'm going to try to read at least 6 books in June.

I've had a pretty good June so far, as I finished 2 roundabout books and reread a bit of a 3rd one before moving it along with the others. I'm still hoping to read another off my shelves and release it for the Canada Days challenge.

I've read 5 out of the 6 I hoped to read and I might be able to knock the last one off before July 1. Wish me luck.

And I did it. I finished The Back of the Turtle by Thomas King this morning. And I really liked it!

>7 gypsysmom: Glad to hear you liked it. I've read a number of Thomas King's books and have enjoyed them, but this is one I've not read yet.
