Tell us your goals for February! it's the shortest month of the year, but that doesn't mean that your plans can't be ambitious. :)

My goal is to read at least 3 books from the TBR pile so that I have at least one entry in my remaining yearly goals i.e. Books from other BXers, oldest book in my possession and 1 novel from the CBC 100 Novels that Make You Proud to be Canadian.

in Feb will spend 12 days traveling to spend time with little granddaughters - an exciting, thrilling , exhausting adventure with reduced reading time!

Still, I'm aiming to read 8 books, 4 of those from MTBR.

February goals:

stay current on my post
stay within budget for my postal costs
finish a military memoir I started in January
listen to at least one audiobook from my audible TBR

>2 gypsysmom: >4 Amaryllys: Good luck with your goals!

>3 nrmay: Even if you have reduced reading time for yourself, I hope you'll get to enjoy more reading time with your granddaughters. My children are in their 20's, and unfortunately, I don't have grandchildren to read to yet. Maybe one day ....

This month, I'll be reading mostly from the Tournament of Books list, but I do have some modest BC-related goals:
- finish one of my ABC books, Last Rituals by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir
- finish and register at least two books from my own shelves

>6 mathgirl40: This was my first book by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, and after it I decided that I definitely want to read more by this author! (rating was 4-stars, main deduction due to gruesome nature of the story)

Read 3 library books and 2 MTBR so far this month.
The 2 off my shelf are already out of the house!

I did read countless picture bks to my granddaughters while visiting this month!

February results:

stay current on my post -struggled with this
stay within budget for my postal costs - was okay, but only because of the above %)
finish a military memoir I started in January - nope
listen to at least one audiobook from my audible TBR - nope

Hope I'll do better in March

By the way, I prolonged my book-buying ban - two months without buying new books already! Now to read at least some of the ones I owe... XD

>7 Amaryllys: I finished Last Rituals and enjoyed it. I thought it was nice that this ABC book had passed through the hands of a couple of people in this group (yourself and Boekentrol71). :)

>8 nrmay: It sounds like you had a nice time with your granddaughters!

>9 Amaryllys: Good work with your book-buying ban!

Apart from the ABC book mentioned above, I also finished the latest roundabout book that came my way, A Ladder to the Sky by John Boyne.

In addition, I finished a couple of others that I will be registering and releasing. Once is a lovely YA book, Broken Strings, by Eric Walters and Kathy Kacer, and the other is Saudade by Suneeta Peres da Costa, a book from the current Tournament of Books shortlist that a fellow ToB fan sent me.

With only hours to spare (thank goodness for that extra day) I completed my February goals.
