If two of these get posted it's because I've run into a glitch and lost the first I started

Hugh, on WT you suggested or I inferred that we could "browse" each other's libraries. How do we do that? I figure out I can search for a specific book, but not cruise around.

As most know I am very involved with Ralph Griswold's Textile archive--keeping it alive and keeping it growing. This Library Thing might turn out to be a source for texts . . .

Marg, just click on a name and go to their profile, then click on browse catalog. Then you can see what that person has cataloged.

I haven't been able to join the group, but I can post. Can anyone help?

I just figured out how to join, so I'm in.

Good going . . . I guess I'm approaching the free limit and pondering a lifetime membership. It seems so ludicrously low in price.

I'm still entering my books--doing them shelf by shelf, room by room.
Not sure how to handle the mags or the faded Xeroxes...

Gives us 'features' to nag for! And if the magazines are bad, how about the bound collection of notes that became the Leclerc Master Weaver Libray? Although come to think of it, there is a group here that is made up of librarians--- we could always ask them.

Look at the Topic "Wish list for LibraryThing" on the Group "Recommend Site Improvements" and also, as you suggest, the Librarians group. Both sites have suggestions for formats other than books.
