All of these authors are new to me, but I like the mix of fiction and non-fiction. Good luck and happy reading!

3. Beyond Suspicion by James Grippando

There was a lot going in the book, but I thought the author did a good job of bringing it to a conclusion.

I received that one as a birthday gift about four years ago. Sounds like it'll be worth the read.

5. Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly

This was a very good book, sometimes hard to read because of the cruelty.

7. No Way Back by Andrew Gross

I have read several books by Andrew Gross. This book was not my favorite.

8. Up Jumps the Devil by Margaret Maron

This is part of the series. This was not the best of the series. It was all about land and land development. The one thing I liked about the book was it introduced you to all of Deborah's brothers and some of her nieces and nephews.

9. Last Man Down by Richard Picciotto

This was the story of a New York fire chief who was in the North Tower when it collapsed on September 11. He and several others were trapped in a void of a stairwell. It details their rescue.

I swear I was not going to read a book about a pandemic during a Pandemic. Well, I picked this before the pandemic started.
