Advent

As I write this, it is the second Sunday of Advent. At our church we light an advent candle, with an advent devotional. In my personal devotions I read/pray the magnificat every morning, or Zechariah's song. When the time comes I will pray the O Antiphons.

What do others here do?

This was a great post, and I imagine it reminded a bunch of us to think further about Advent even if many of us aren't particularly proud of our devotional practices. I revive this with the admission that for many years I have begun each Advent and also Lent with the hope and intention to pray the full daily Office (aka Liturgy of the Hours) but without getting all the way through. I believe Jesus appreciates our struggle and persistence. I pray everyone will make their best effort.
