D&D books! I want them both! I've been eyeballing these on store shelves a few times. I'm actually running the Ravenloft adventure with some friends right now, and have the 3.5 Adventure in my library.

I started to read this series years ago and never got the chance to finish it. I've been dying to know what happens! The story opens with the kingdom being overthrown, killing all of the royals in the castle. The main girl is just a baby, and is the princess, A guard switches her out with another baby so they think the princess is dead. Then I think he raises her on a farm, and she ends up meeting the captain of the new ruler's guard (also second born prince) and somehow they start to fall for each other. Neither of them know she's the rightful heir to the throne! The prince's older brother, heir to the throne, is a horrible person. A womanizer, a man ho*, daddy's favorite, and he does everything he can to make his younger brother miserable. So when he finds out his brother likes the main girl, he makes her his own fiance: she isn't exactly left with a choice in the matter. So then she's living in the castle with the guy she likes and the king she hates, engaged to a horrible prince. Please if you know the author or title or series let me know, you'd be filling my afternoon with joy lol.

I would love a copy of The Inner Life: Inner Land--A Guide into the Heart of the Gospel, Volume 1 by: Eberhard Arnold. I am new to LibraryThing and cannot wait to get started reading a reviewing!

I've only discovered you today and have requested a couple of books but am still trying to find my way around so I think they are possibly not on the early list. I keep getting lost! I cannot suss out, except to scroll through lots of books, if there is a way to maybe find books of certain genre's. I will get there eventually, but in the meantime I'm enjoying the tour

TheReadingShed, the list is at https://www.librarything.com/er/list
Go to and request books you may like to read. If you are lucky, you will be chosen to win one.

jmriowa:

The August batch is closed. If you want to request a book from the currently-open September batch, do so at the link that was posted in lorannen's #1 or d_perlo's #9. However, since ER is not assigned randomly or first-come first-serve but instead based on the books in your library at the time the batch was posted, with an almost-empty library you'll have little chance of success. (Not zero, but small.) Enter some books you've enjoyed or found interesting, and try again in October.
