Two books in what are your thoughts about the series?

I like the series. I just hope that Joesbury and Lacey come to some kind of relationship before the whole thing ends or they die of old age.

I think Bolton is a good writer and I like how she keeps us wondering what Lacey's secrets are.

I think she has the potential to be a really good character but we haven't gotten there yet. I do want to read the next one to see what happens after the cliffhanger.

Not my usual fayre, but Bolton is quite readable.
I slightly preferred this story over the first one in the series.

I like it. She keeps me guessing and she does some unexpected things. I’m looking forward to the next one.

I like the series so far - I'm interested in reading the next in the series to see if Lacey has grown from these two cases.
