What are you hoping for from this book?

Did you enjoy the first book?

I'm not hoping for anything, because I can't remember the first book, lol!

Did I enjoy the first book? I don't know!

>2 Sergeirocks: lol. Luckily I usually remember quite a bit once I get into the book but that is definitely why I don’t like to have a lot of time go by between books in a series. I tend to be one of those people that wait for a series to end (or an author die) then power thru the series one after another.

Having just checked my books page, I see I gave the first book 3.5, which represents 'good-ish'.

And if anybody wants to see what I wrote about the plot, here it is: Lacey, real name Victoria Llewellyn, and her younger sister, Cathy, were raped in their early teens. They lost touch. Vic' swapped ID's with a street person she'd befriended who'd died; Cathy supposedly died in a boat fire.
Lacey, now a cop, investigates deaths reflecting the killing spree of Jack-the-Ripper, knowing the killer must be Cathy.
Beefcake supplied by cop Mark Joesbury.

I had to reveal Carol's spoiler to remember the book. I gave it a 4 so am looking forward to seeing what this one is about.

>5 Olivermagnus: I gave it a 4 too. Seem to remember really enjoying it but something about the ending brought the score down. Now if I could remember the ending I might remember why! 😂

>6 Andrew-theQM: The last one left questions unanswered and was a bit gory in parts. That's why I gave it a 4.

I'm hoping that she doesn't leave any more unanswered questions and the book is good enough to give it a 5* rating.

I gave it a 4 and I liked it a lot. But there were some parts where Lacey put herself in extreme danger for no good reason. I'm hoping she doesn't do that in this book but the rest of it is a good story.

>8 gaylebutz: Seems like her fellow police authorities are putting her in danger this time..so she won't have to:)
