Visitors to New England will have many favorite spots and here is a place to share them with others.

The Isles of Shoals, off the coast of Maine / New Hampshire!
I spend a week there, on Star Island, each summer, usually at a conference of the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science. Been going there since the 1960's, I love the rugged beauty.

Sugar Hill, New Hampshire, is my favorite mountain location. You can see Mt Washington in the distance without the permanent horrible weather and the purple lupin is beautiful.
I have all sorts of connections with this place. My folks use to summer up there, my mentor in college also, a good friend in New York is related to the owner of the place my folks used to rent from, and I just met another inhabitant from there a week ago at my New York church.
