Game Thread 6

Starting a new thread because the other one was past 250 posts.

In the previous thread, whitewavedarling asked me to review In the Wet, by Nevil Shute. This is another fine aeronautical adventure, but the main character has an awful nickname. Review is here: https://www.librarything.com/review/129906013

EmScape, how about The Jungle, by Upton Sinclair? LynnB and I happened to both start it recently, so I thought it was neat to see it in your GRTB collection too :)

Whoever picks for me has the run of my to-read collection: https://www.librarything.com/catalog/rabbitprincess/toread

Thanks!

In game thread 5, #185 (a long time ago), I was asked to review Possible worlds of science fiction and the review is here.

Rabbitprincess, could you read Lord and master by Tranter. Looks interesting and has no reviews as yet.

I have a “to read” collection: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/fdholt/toread

However any unreviewed book is OK. Thanks.

>2 fdholt: how about Heart of the Matter to let your santee know what you thought of their choice.

I used to be quite active in this group until I started reading ebooks, after which I only added them once I'd finished them, and by then I'd already written the reviews. At the moment I'm trying to re-read some of my library so any of my novel/fiction that doesn't already have a review is fair game. I'm unlikely to feel like reading non-fiction though.

Hi Rabbitprincess, I'm so sorry, but I just could not get into The Jungle. I swear, I really really tried. I hope you and Lynn liked it, though!
I'm going to call it quits and request a different book, please?

Reading_fox, how about Strange Dreams by Stephen Donaldson? It doesn't have any reviews at all. I'd be interested in what you think.

For me, please choose from my tbrv pile. Thank you!

>4 EmScape: Sadly that's on my wishlist, and I don't own a copy. I've not even seen it for sale. Try again for novels not on the wishlist? Ta

Way back in post 252 in game thread 5, rabbitprincess asked me to review The Flight of the Phoenix, which I have finally done (https://www.librarything.com/work/1683765/reviews/93759871)!

EmScape, how about Dark Wing by Carl West.

Whoever picks for me, please choose something tagged TBR, thanks!

>4 EmScape: got back to me with Death and the Senator which I've now reviewed: https://www.librarything.com/work/3835438/reviews/46087079

>6 LisaMorr: - You have some many great books on a truly epic TBR list, but I've picked a favourite of mine Mirror of her Dreams and hope you like it as much as I did.

For me please choose from my fiction, in my library not on my wishlist (often they're just not available for me). Sadly I've not been organised enough to tag those that need a review.

LisaMorr asked me to read and review Dark Wing by Carl West. I really liked it! Review here.
Reading_fox, hopefully I can manage to choose for you a book you actually own this time... How about Night of Error by Desmond Bagley?
For me, please choose from my Go Review That Book collection. Cheers!
