New LT Local Locations aren't findable via "Link Sources and Venues"

cf. https://www.librarything.com/topic/265882#6794328

It seems that new locations are not indexing properly and can't be searched. (Example: "Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD)" -- added here: https://www.librarything.com/venue/113075/Melvin-J-Berman-Hebrew-Academy -- not showing up. I was expecting a short delay as before, but it's been a couple hours now.

>1 davidgn: Confirmed. I'm looking to see if there's a process that needs restarting or something (which is what I suspect is the issue).

This is still happening. I added this two days ago and it has not yet been indexed: https://www.librarything.com/venue/113213/%C3%85con-X.

Some priority on this one, maybe?

Copied from my duplicate report:
I have entered a new location this past Sunday (nearly 72 hours ago). It took a while for it to be found by searching Local, but I can find it there now. However, when I search using the From Where box (reached by double-clicking the From Where? field in my catalog ("Your books") it is not found. I believe this is a timing issue, and does not have anything to do with the diacritics in the name, because other (older) similar stores are found, and the location entered after mine ("Bibliothek Nesslau") is also not found in the From Where.

Location: "Cărturești Iaşi" - http://www.librarything.com/venue/113177

It is now 8 days ago, still not available.

The venue from >1 davidgn: is now available, so maybe Lorannen did manage to restart a process or give something a kick, but whatever she did needs doing again.

Update: The venue in >1 davidgn: is now findable in From where? search. The other two examples (in >3 anglemark: and >4 divinenanny: respectively) are still not. Given that >4 divinenanny: shares a name with other venues that do turn up in this search, I'm pretty certain it's not a character set issue.

I've pinged pinged developers about this and hope to have some news soon.

This seems to be still happening. I added this venue and another one yestarday. The other one can be found when searching, this one cannot: https://www.librarything.com/venue/113899/St-Georges-Market

I wonder whether it's the possessive apostrophe?

Ah, thanks. Will it work if I rename the venue?

This is old so I'm not surprised I can now find all the venues on Local search.

Is there anything still at play in this bug report? If so, let me know. I'm closing for now.

All I can say is that venue: http://www.librarything.com/venue/114393, which is the highest ID that works, is findable in From Where and Local. Now I don't know when it was added, but assuming that venues are added regularly (and this location has opened just last week) I think it is searchable a lot sooner than it was in the original report.

>10 divinenanny: https://www.librarything.com/local/helpers says that venue 114393 was added Monday 8:38pm (11-Nov-2019 I presume).

Okay, perhaps just server space that we needed back then which we now have, making things quicker. Great.

Can I resurrect this bug? I added a venue several weeks ago. It comes up when searching "Local". However, I can't find it in a "From where?" search.

Here's the venue:

Just to reopen the report for >13 lauralkeet:

>13 lauralkeet:
Your bug is actually the other referenced bug in this thread, where searching for a term in "From Where" with a possesive apostrophe ("Harriett's") does not work. Searching for "Harriett" brings up your venue as the third result.

I think the correct bug for you is: https://www.librarything.com/topic/292481

>15 divinenanny: aha, that's very helpful, thank you!

I thought I had tried a partial search before, but when I went to do so just now, autocorrect added the apostrophe+s. Once I removed those characters the venue came up just fine.

The apostrophe problem is still a valid bug, but at least I was able to update my books. Thanks for your help.

Can I resurrect this bug, please? I added these venues... last week? They're currently findable via local search but not in the From Where field.
