This is one of the best haunted book covers, sadly this limited edition of 300 is not easy to track down secondhand (at least not for a sensible price, it is also very seldom mentioned in the marked)

Anybody has this edition that can give me some insight on the book itself, illustrations etc.

This volume is from 2008, therefore are one of the earlier ones from CP Jerad, i am sure he has learned a lot since then

Here are some images of my copy of 'The OTHER'.

As you can see from the limitation page it was less than 300 copies - only 200 plus 15 in leather. The limitation references millipede press which was the name of the imprint before it became centipede press. The red cloth cover has a subtle trident shape imprinted in the top right corner which hopefully you can make out in the image, but is otherwise plain. There aren't all that many illustrations within the book and all are variant of the portrait image shown below. There is also a full page image of the author prior to the short introduction by Ramsey Campbell (20th sept 2007).

Most of the early CP editions are in this style. I have about 30 CP books so let me know if you want to see any more details from the ones listed on my librarything page.

>2 paulmoran: Thanks Paul.

CP have published so many titles that i am not so familiar with, my two most `sought after` volumes would probably be `The Other` and `The Collector`(for some reason. There are no other well made editions on these books)

I found and bought the latter two years ago, and if i find a good deal on the book that this thread belongs, i might cave in given the right moment. Portrait images are a winner for me, like `Mona Lisa` .. is she smiling or not ..

There aren't all that many illustrations within the book and all are variant of the portrait image shown below - That is a littlebit underwhelming, just a littlebit .. the book seem fine otherwise

I`ll let you know about the other editions
