F...c...g serie system

i give up after 1h of try.

What ?

The french edition combine two original book per book, so :
- i remove the false work combination between vo (tome 1) and fr (tome 1 & 2)
- and then between vo (2) and fr (3 & 4)
- finally i edit "Work-to-work relationships" part to add the contains works.

Now the serie page (http://www.librarything.fr/series/Overlord) shows too much book with the same order.
I remove the serie knowledge part of the french edition ... God save the queen, english site (.com) is ok.

Problem ?

The serie page works only on combined works and never scan the contains part of work-to-work.
I tried a lot of thing to solve it.

How ?
After a lot of read here and there, and try ... i create a "french" serie with and without the same name of the english one, by the .fr website or not ... nothing worked !

... Why !!!!?!

Please help me to understand my mistakes ...

One possibility is to add the omnibus French editions to the .com series, as I've just done with the first one: https://www.librarything.com/series/Overlord

I'm not really familiar with how series work between languages, so I don't know if there's a better way.

The work-to-work relationships don't really do anything, and specifically they don't do anything to series. You could add a Recommended Site Improvement to that effect (https://www.librarything.com/groups/recommendsiteimprov).

It's better than nothing, ...even if i'm not very pleased by the omnibus solution.
But it's hard to please everybody, perhaps my wish is only mine.
I'll take time to think about it again, before to post an improvement idea ... perhaps.

Standard practice is to add multi-volume works to the bottom of the series pages.
