Ha! Thanks, apokoliptian.

I was hoping Uruguay would get by France in the World Cup, but no such luck.

I'm reading Royal City Volume 2 by Jeff Lemire, and Hit-Girl Colombia.

The first is a continuation of a working class story by Lemire, who did the terrific Essex County, and the second is a new story about Kick-Ass's sidekick - or was he hers?

Started my July with Alison Bechdel's Are You My Mother? (enjoyable, but not as good as Fun Home) and Dan Watters's Limbo.

Planned reading for the rest of the month includes Hot Dog Taste Test, Blacksad: A Silent Hell, Baggywrinkles, and Sin City, Vol. 6 (for the book club). A pretty strange mix, maybe.

As for the World Cup: Croatia all the way! :)

Talking about luck... The result of Brazil x Belgium game was traumatic.
At least, I still love Belgium's comics hahaha. Lukako and Hergé in the same team!

Last month, I forgot to say something about Blue Monday: It pass the Bechdel test with flying colors. The female characters are strongly developed and verisimil.

I've finished Black Hammer, Vol.1 and I think it deserves all the hype. While it will appeal for the Silver Age DC fans with some key references, it can please casual readers. I am looking forward to book 2.
