I'm interested to know your top 10 favorite award winners. After ten, I start to become inconsistent, and my favorites change depending on what I've read or reread lately. But the top ten stay very consistent. After you've written yours, scroll down for mine. (no fair peeking before you choose)

I can't number mine one-ten because all of my top ten could be my number one
The Bronze Bow
Missing May
Rabbit Hill
The Slave Dancer
Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
The Twenty-One Balloons
The Dark Frigate
The Witch of Blackbird Pond
The Whipping Boy
Call it Courage
The Trumpeter of Krakow

Eleven...that is more than ten...but I really could post my top 20 or my top 30...these books are just that good.

Sharon Theil.

mebrock,

I am still trying to get a copy of The Hero and the Crown. Where did you get your copy, if I may ask.

Sharon.

Sharon, I found it on Amazon. I think I purchased it new, in paperback. I'd like to get a good hardback of it, though.
