Adding books by ASIN in bulk

Hello,

I can add books manually by ISBN or ASIN, LT figures things out like boss and looks up the ISBN from the ASIN when needed.

I can also add books in bulk simply by making the simplest of text files, with just an ISBN per line. This is a great feature.

But if I try the same bulk import with ASIN numbers, then for some reason LT is confused, does not accept the ASINs as valid IDs of anything, does not look anything up, and the import fails. Which is a shame since it looks like most of the coding of every part that is needed is already done and is working fine.

Am I doing something wrong, or can we really not import books by their ASINs? And if it's the latter, any chance this can be added to the todo list?

Thank you.

same issue - number of books with only ASIN, but adding them to a universal import csv doesn't work, thoughts?

Sorry for the trouble, but you cannot import ASINs at this time. We'll be sure to announce if anything changes on that front, though, thanks for your patience!

I'm sure that will happen right after you allow us to import more than seven fields in the "Universal Import".

Probably longer than the usual "two weeks."
