We recently had some event spam. This time it wasn't event-adding, which was well-covered, but event-editing, which was not. Changes included much better tracking of event edits and their associated metadata. And when members are caught spamming, ever event they edited will fall to the same sanctions as the events they added, lists they added, etc.
You can see who edited an event when you edit the event (e.g., https://www.librarything.com/local_add_v2.php?event=3028221 ). Here's what it looks like:
I'm hoping this is enough. If it's not, I'll institute other measures, like stripping events of links and not showing user-added events to non-signed in members for 1 hour.

athena's their internal server. Just replace it with www and it should work.

How do we deal with these edited events? I had a few local ones crop up, all spamified by the same now-suspended user. But they're still spammy now, with no clear way to undo the damage.
