searching for a book

While reading an old post on travelogues on Global Reading, I happened upon a book that intriges me: A dairymaid travels the world by Anna frá Moldnúpi 1i 1947 (recent copy published 2010). An icelandic woman travels the world. Amazon lists it, at an exorbinant amount, and my usuall go to sites: ABE, Bookfinders and Book Depository come up empty. Any idea where I might get thie book? Thanks!

wow, tough. I could only find a site that says something like "I think one of her books was translated into English." Anna from Moldnúpur, A Dairymade Travels the World and Philip Roughton (translator) all came up empty as for finding an actual copy.

Yeah; bookfinder is my fave book search resource surprised that nothing came up.

I did find some more information Book was copywrited 2010 by Hotel Anne, creyjavik, iceland......

Jackpot!!! i just put in her name the city and 'hotel' and gotthis!

Its these kind of surprises that I miss, since Google made it so easy to find things. I have a few other books that I found by chance or searching. So much fun. I did give the hotel an email and hope they will respond!
