Badger Books

8-10 Gratwicke Road
Worthing
West Sussex

Badger's Bookshop is the best secondhand bookshop in Worthing. It is also the only one. If that sounds like a back-handed compliment, it's not supposed to. There was a time when Worthing had several excellent bookshops to while away a Saturday browsing, but Badger's was always the best.

Situated a little off the main thoroughfare, its existence is now the only reason I can find to visit Worthing.

Kims Bookshop has apparently bought new premises in Arundel, after selling off their shop at the far end of of Montague Street, although whether that is a good thing or not is entirely based upon your own experience of their old shop! Which begs the question, does one really want to have a reason to visit Worthing? Isn't it best avoided at all costs?

PS Hope you don't mind me popping in and joining the group?!

If you're stuck in Worthing, there's no better way to escape the dismal surroundings than visiting Ray and Meriel in Badger's!

I was stuck there for quite a few years! And never enjoyed Kim's so much though bargains were to be unearthed there...
