I got Every Night Italian, which will (I hope) induce me to cook more often, since I now have no time and have been eating incredibly poorly since starting my new job!

I got two books I really wanted - always helpful to get 12 year-old daughter to drop hints to hubbie. Nigella Express: 130 Recipes for Good Food, Fast is great (I'm a big Nigella fan) and I've already done lots from it (and my daughter loves the breakfast section). I haven't used Cook with Jamie: My Guide to Making You a Better Cook by Jamie Oliver yet - I think it will be good for everyday meals.

Years ago I gave all my kids Betty Crocker Cookbooks when they were adults but still single.

Christmas "2010" -- I received a couple of cookbooks this Christmas -2 sprial cookbooks: "The Original King Arthur Flour Cookbook" and "The taste of home Cookbook", "Reader's Digest - Extraordinary Meals form ordinary ingredients" and I found a copy of one I didn't have at a used book store - "The Frugal Gourmet" by Jeff Smith.... I have his 'cooks italian' which I love --- some might not like Jeff Smith.. but.. I loved his italian cookbook and I am sure I will enjoy this one from 1984 - No cover on it.. just the Hardback...
the cookbook "motto"... if I find one recipe that I love in it... it is worth it! (and i usually find more!). Already, I made a nice "salmon dip" from the Frugal Gourmet cookbook for a family gathering this past weekend and everyone loved it!
