I remember seeing here somewhere that you could purchase dust jackets directly from LoA. Is this true? I prefer the look of the dust jackets on the shelves, and would like to get some for the books that I got with the slipcases.

Yep (as of a few months ago anyway), you need to call them - no way to order online.
