Steve Dillion

With the death of Steve Dillon, is Preacher Book 1 the same thing as Preacher Vol. 1: Gone to Texas, and so on down the (two?) series? There's certainly some cross-over in the covers used, and they're all listed in the same LT series.

I am not sure what the death has to do with the question but the answer is no - the ones that have the word book in the title are bigger collections - the standard TPB collection contains 9 books; the "book" one has 6. Same series, different compilations.

For the two you are asking about here - the first has the first 12 issues; the second - the first 7. Of you want to read them - either collection will work - just stick with whichever you start. :) If you ask about combining in LT - please do not.

This is the first I have heard of Dillon's death. What a loss. Condolences to his family and friends..
