The symposium is in conjunction with the exhibit "Treasured Pages: Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts from the Rare Book Department of the Free Library of Philadelphia" in the Arthur Ross Gallery of the University of Pennsylvania.
The exhibit runs from October 13, 2007 to January 6, 2008.
