Hello, not only am I new to this group I'm also a beginning quilter. So excited to find this group. Made my first quilt in December, and on my third now. All three are crib quilts (I have a 16 month old granddaughter). I began my first by simply hand quilting around a chevron printed design, next one was a strip quilt, now I have moved up to one with simple blocks. I'm taking baby steps. I already know that my next will be using triangles to form the blocks. Then I plan to graduate to a queen size for mine & my husband's bed!

Welcome! I'm a knitter myself, but there are several quilters in this group. And everyone appreciates design, color, textiles and such. I'd love to see photos of your work sometime.

I'm a quilter. Right now I'm making a Double Wedding Ring for my son's wedding. We'd love to see pics of your work!

Thanks everyone. I also knit, and sew. Used to do cross stitch a long time ago and some freehand embroidery but my vision isn't what it used to be. Been lately eyeing some beautiful needlepoint kits.... But I've really caught the quilt bug. I've had a lifelong love affair with fabric. Labwriter I saw your posts last night about the dbl wedding ring. Very impressive undertaking. Will attach photos when I figure out how. : - )

The first step is to upload the photos to a website. You may already use something like Flickr or Photobucket; you can also upload them to your LT member gallery. I see you already have photos there, so I assume you know how to do that. You can choose to put the photos in your gallery, or in your junk drawer -- either will work.
Then, refer to this guide for further instructions:
