I love that this acronym is being used beyond our group.

So here is a thread to record other instances of the phrase "tattered but still lovely"

I found a poem in From Earthen Vessels, titled 'Torn and Tattered" about butterflies. The refrain is "torn and tattered but still lovely."

On Etsy, a dealer describes an item as "This 1915 Dancing Picnic Ribbon Is A Little Tattered But Still Lovely"

And a columnist reflecting on the last bits of summer "it could be the wistful sighs of parents like me who are wishing in vain for another few weeks, parents who are hanging on to the tattered but still-lovely threads of a rapidly unraveling summer."

And then this blog discussion:

Notice the first comment. Who is Anonymous April????

Woo! We're famous (not).

I love that butterfly photo, though my heart goes out to such a battered and tattered creature...
