I realized after moving how many books I have (over 800.) So, I am trying to get through as many as I can this year.
January so far:
The Big Sleep
Farewell, My Lovely
The Independence of Miss Mary Bennet
A Beautiful Blue Death
The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes
Psmith, Journalist

My goal currently is 75, but I might change it depending on how much I can read in the next couple of months.

Welcome aboard and good luck with your challenge!

January is almost over and I have only been able to finish one more book.

>7 getrus: 7 out of 75 total is on track! That's very good.

I spoke a little too soon. Had a lazy Sunday and was able to read all of Used and Rare. Definitely a great read--especially if you are considering collecting books.

Just finished The Loved One and I find I didn't like as well as his others which I have read, but the ending was very poetic. I highly recommend, but some might not get his humor.

It is halfway through the month and I have not been able to finish any more books. I have made considerable progress in Wolf Hall and just started Darkover Landfall. Hopefully I will be able to finish both of them soon.
15MissWatson
There's still half a month ahead of you. I hope you like the books!
16getrus
Finished Darkover Landfall and am almost done with Bands of Mourning. I highly recommend Brandon Sanderson. This is the 10th book of his I have read and it is amazing.
17connie53
>16 getrus: I've said it before on some other thread. I love Brandon's books.

>18 getrus: hurrah! Very good. Did you enjoy it?
20getrus
I did enjoy it. There were points where it was boring and slow, but on the whole it was very good.
21getrus
Finished Busman's Honeymoon this morning. I always love a good mystery and I am going to be sad when I finish this series. Puts me at 13 for the year, but only 2 this month.
22getrus
Adding Sad Cypress, making it number 14.
23getrus
Adding my first one for April with Death in the English Countryside.
24getrus
Second root for April finished. Spindle's End

>10 getrus: sounds delightful! I have put it on my wishlist!
26getrus
Where did April go? I got so busy I wasn't able to finish anymore books, but I currently have 3 in progress. Hopefully I will get to them soon and have a successful month in May.
27Tess_W
>26 getrus: Real life happens! Good luck in May.
28connie53
>26 getrus: >27 Tess_W: Yes it does. I hope May will be better for you.
30getrus
Well May is starting off good. I finished Ring For Jeeves.

Wow....I completely forgot to update Librarything with my progress. It is a very good thing I keep a running list of all the books I read.
Picking up where I left off.
June:
Jeeves and the Fuedal Spirit
One, Two Buckle my Shoe
Evil Under the Sun
July:
Piper in the Woods
Murder at the Brightwell
Death in an English Cottage
Death Wears a Mask
An Artist of the Floating World
Five Little Pigs
Castle Rackrent
The Canterville Ghost
The Colour of Magic
August:
Jeeves in the Offing
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Crowned and Dangerous
September:
The Hollow
The Outstretched Shadow
The Shattered Tree
Rumpole of the Bailey
The Labors of Hercules
Total of 20 plus the 18 I had already read has me at 38. A little low for what I wanted and I am pretty sure I can't make the 75 I wanted this year. So my number is being revised to 52. I think I can manage another 14 by the end of the year.
Edit--Having some issues updating my ticker...I will try and see if it updates correctly in a couple days. Then maybe try again.

I think other people were having issues with their tickers as well, so it could be a problem with the site.
Great reading list! It makes me think I should add another Agatha to the to-read pile :)
