As of 2015, and in the recent past, the most popular subject heading for publishers and booksellers in this genre was "sustainability" ... but not anymore. Going forward, more than 99% of new book titles that focus on lifestyle details are found via the term "sustainable living." I'm all for making these works easier to find (see the myriad past subject heading examples in our group's Zeitgeist thread), but this is a major change.

Like it or dislike it? Please tell us your opinion, and give some examples.

I googled both terms. The Wikipedia articles for each term appear to be equally extensive, though "sustainability" seems to spend more images on farming and land use. "Sustainable living" focuses a tid bit more on individual consumer actions.

Myself, I prefer "sustainability." It has more strength as a movement than the other term which kinda waters it down to lifestyle choices, which are more faddish.
