I have always loved books and I have been homeschooling for over 20+ years. I don't find many people as enthusiastic about books, particularly children's books, as I am. I find I want to share about a wonderful children's book with someone but most often it falls on deaf ears.

So, I started a blog where I could share these books. I'm posting them in a way that you can your children can take a journey to a particular place, or time in history, or expore a particular topic in nature.

I would like to share that blog here but didn't know if that was appropriate. Please let me know. TY!

I doubt if much spam gets posted on this group but enthusiastic Spam Fighters will usually glance at single postings just to check, so I reckon that nobody thought this was out of order. Self advertisement for profit is a no-no but seems like your post passed.

If you look on the group's page, the last column on the right is "Last message," so you can easily skim to see how active a group is. This one, indeed, is quite inactive. But you are welcome to try posting things here that you'd post on your blog, in an attempt to get some discussion going.

Generally speaking, it depends on the tone/intent of a post whether it gets flagged as self-promotion spam. Since you asked, waited several days, and shared because you felt it was appropriate to the group's interests, I didn't see a need to flag it.
